Hi, I'm

MichalKrbec.

I study cybersecurity and write C++. “How does that work?” has a habit of turning into another project.

On my desktop
Komplex desktop fractal explorer
KomplexFour fractals, with the maths in view.
Chess running in the SDL interface
ChessTeaching C++ to choose its next move.

What I’m figuring out.

Chess gives me search and evaluation to work on. Komplex turns complex numbers into pixels. With FBManager, I’m working on API integration, credentials, and what happens when a request fails.

New project · Python / Graph API

FBManager

Facebook Page management from the terminal. I built a Python tool for publishing posts, managing Page tokens, and keeping a local action history. It runs on Windows and Linux.

Julia set and parameters in Komplex

Komplex

A C++ / Qt 6 explorer for Mandelbrot, Julia, Burning Ship, and Tricorn sets. You can change the parameters, follow the detail, and read why the image looks the way it does. The CPU gets to do the repetitive part.

Chess

The board is in SDL; the decisions are made by my own C++ engine. It searches moves, evaluates positions, and uses UCI to communicate with other chess software. There’s quite a bit behind “your move.”

A position in my C++ chess application

When the editor is closed.

I work on FPV hardware with LDI, play Hearts of Iron IV, and train Latin and ballroom dance. I do eventually leave the keyboard.

Your turn to experiment.

Change a complex number or find a mate in one. Try the ideas without compiling either project.

Mess with a Julia set.

This browser demo uses the same equation as Komplex: z² + c. Change c with the sliders and watch the shape change.

A Julia set repeats z² + c at each point. Changing c changes the boundary between points that escape and those that stay.

Find the mate in one.

White to move. Pick a piece, then a square. The black king has very few options; your job is to remove the rest.

Position: white king f6 and queen g6; black king h8. White to move. Can the queen cover every escape square and stay protected?

And yes, I use Arch.

Of course there’s a terminal.

A tiny simulated terminal. Four commands, no installation. Start with help.

What are you working on?

Tell me about your C++ or FPV project, or a role where I can keep learning. A few sentences are enough to start.
